About
Kendoll King — Vocalist | Songwriter | Producer | Performance Coach
A dynamic and versatile performer, Kendoll King has been captivating audiences since childhood. With over 15 years of professional experience in the performing arts, he has built a reputation as a powerhouse vocalist, multi-genre performer, songwriter, producer, and vocal coach. His career spans musical theatre, high-end live events, studio recording, and national performances, establishing him as a well-rounded and in-demand force in the industry.
Originally from Philadelphia, Kendoll has been performing in professional cover bands since 2011 and working in the entertainment industry since 2008. A graduate of Berklee College of Music (Class of 2015), he developed a deep versatility across genres including Pop, R&B, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Country, and Musical Theatre. As a session vocalist, he has contributed both lead and background vocals to a wide range of projects, including a Berklee faculty-produced album recorded alongside members of the Berklee Voice Department, where he also co-arranged vocal harmonies and contributed original material.
Kendoll currently serves as Lead Vocalist and Emcee for Young Love and the Thrills (YLATT), a premier Boston-based event band performing 45+ weddings and corporate events annually. In this role, he delivers high-impact performances for audiences of up to 1,000 guests, while guiding event flow, collaborating directly with clients, and shaping the musical direction of each event. His work has been featured at notable venues and events including the Boston Public Library, Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club, the American Institute of Architects Awards Gala, and the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, reaching an estimated 7,000–10,000 audience members annually.
Beyond the stage, Kendoll is a dedicated educator and mentor. He serves as Assistant Director and Vocal Instructor at Tiffany Colston Studios, where he teaches a diverse roster of students, develops curriculum, and leads workshops. His teaching emphasizes vocal health, technical consistency, emotional connection, and real-world performance readiness. His students have gone on to gain acceptance into multiple voice and performance college programs, secure professional recording and management contracts, and perform in competitive musical theatre programs.
As an artist, Kendoll King crafts sleek, genre-blending pop that bridges classic melody with modern electronic production. He writes and produces his own original releases—including singles like Love Drunk, Tea Dance, and This Christmas Is for Me—while also collaborating with other artists as a songwriter and producer. His work is defined by strong hooks, rhythmic precision, and a distinct sense of identity that balances polish with personality. Influenced by icons such as Freddie Mercury, Stevie Wonder, Prince, and Michael Jackson, his artistry is both nostalgic and forward-driving, built for connection, movement, and repeat listens.
Whether commanding the stage, mentoring the next generation of vocalists, or crafting innovative new work, Kendoll King continues to push artistic boundaries and connect with audiences through the power of voice.
